Yaers ago, I was looking for employment and working with an agency in Springfield. The owner of the agency and I became good friends, and she tried hard to convince me to come to work for her at the agency. But I had my heart set on computer graphics and high end administrative work, so I declined.
One morning she called me to ask a favor and work for her as a temporary worker for a week or two. A gentlemen who ran a small insurance office down the hall from her agency needed someone to replace a secretary that had walked out on him. The agency was going to be sending over candidates for him to interview, but he needed someone to run the office until he find a permanent replacement for her.
I was not interested in working as a temporary worker, but since I knew her and she asked for a favor, I agreed.
