There are 5 or 6 very ripe bananas on my kitchen counter, making me feel guilty for not eating them as a healthy snack these past several days since I bought them at the grocery store. And I don’t like to throw away food, so I have to do something with them before they are past the point of no return in ripeness.
It came to me while surveying my pantry shelves and I spied a box of instant banana pudding mix. I have a little container of cool whip, and I have a small box of vanilla wafers. Perfect for a nice bowl of Southern Banana Pudding!
