  3. Green tea preferred when hot. Luzzianne tea preferred on ice.

  14. Thanks to my father who insisted I “try it,” I can eat just about anything and like most of it.
  15. Blue Bell ice cream. Blue Bell’s “homemade vanilla and strawberry” will always be in my freezer, occasionally along with their butter pecan and their peaches and cream.
  16. Sipping on a well made Mojito watching the waves break on the sand is like heaven on earth.

  21. Love to take pictures – I carry a digital camera with me everywhere I go.
  22. I don’t play the lottery. Just don’t like the odds.
  23. Didn’t go to Woodstock – my parents would have totally freaked out at the very idea and I was only 16. Kinda wish I had snuck away and gone anyway, but I’m not a sneaky person and I’ve never wanted to disappoint my parents.
  24. Always did very well in school. Churning out the homework was easy, taking tests was easy. But I hated gym.
  25. My first crush on a movie star was Clint Eastwood. I bought the poster for “A Few Dollars More” and put it at the foot of my bed so I could see him every night before falling asleep.
  26. If I could set my own schedule I would never go to bed before 2 am and never get up before noon. *sigh* Well, 10 at the earliest.
  27. I’m not a bird watcher but I see birds all the time. I notice a lot of owls (dozens over the years) and I’ve seen a great many eagles. I love chickadees and cardinals, and put out a hummingbird feeder every summer to watch the hummingbirds.
  28. One of the all time best live concerts that I’ve seen was ZZ Top with their awesome laser light show.
  29. The very first concert I saw was one of the first Jefferson Airplane concerts. Their light show was a filmstrip project showing tie die art-type designs on a screen behind the band. It was a tiny, unusual venue and it rocked.
  30. Comfort food is meatloaf with whipped potatoes and brown beef gravy, a side of peas and something sinfully sweet for dessert.
  31. I like cold meatloaf sandwiches the next day, too.
  32. I am a good shot with both rifle and pistol. Once beat out all the local guys, including my husband, in a turkey shoot. He was mad for a month – but it was worth it.

  43. My father was a talented musician and entertainer. He could play every instrument but the guitar and banjo, because he had broken his fingers while serving in the Navy and couldn’t hold the strings.
  44. My mother used to sing and dance – she used to be in amateur shows and has performed for thousands of people in the Washington DC area.
  45. Musical talents run through my entire family, and I appreciate all the music genres except rap.
  46. My car needs a new engine. I’ll have to drive it until it stops running and then I’ll find a way to pay for the new engine. Hope that is not anytime soon.
  47. A mani-pedi is a luxury that I give myself when I need a treat.
  48. Don’t like to get a haircut. It never seems to turn out like I had in mind. Why can’t I communicate with people who cut hair?
  49. Just bought a Jamey Johnson CD. I don’t really like all the songs, but I wanted to support a hard working, talented songwriter, so I bought it. Then I found out how he is a drunk and a womanizer and I wish I hadn’t spent my money on the loser.
